With the release of the 2019 Spheros SW, has incorporated them into a terrific, affordable inshore reel. The Spheros SW features a powerful waterproof cross carbon drag system that puts out 20-24 lbs of drag at max. The reel is constructed of aluminum with a graphite rotor and a screw in aluminum handle that can be moved from side to side. Turn the handle and the reel feels a lot like a Stradic FK. All of the energy you put into turning the handle gets put right into the gears. There is very little play and the reel feels smooth and rigid. The Spheros SW has four ball bearings and is going to make a lof of anglers very happy. If you fish for redfish in the gulf, fluke up North or schoolie bass, blues or albies from the beach, you are going to love thiss reel.
